Service Description

The asbestos operations and maintenance certification training course is normally offered in two days (16 hours), however it can be customized to meet your needs. New York State Industrial Code Rule 56 (12NYCRR56), the United States Environmental Protection Agency and United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration asbestos regulations specify that facility or building maintenance staff that perform small scale/ short duration operations, maintenance and/or repair activities which may disturb asbestos containing materials (ACM) must complete this training. The asbestos operations and maintenance certificate is appropriate for those who shall conduct asbestos activities that will perform OSHA Class III AND will not exceed the disturbance of not more than one (1) 60” by 60” waste bag of debris. The asbestos operations and maintenance course includes extensive hands on exercises including the set-up and tear down of a minor asbestos project. This course concludes with a twenty-five (25) question exam.
