The asbestos abatement project designer certification training program is normally completed in two days (16 hours with 8 hour refreshers); however we can customize it to fit your schedule. New York State Industrial Code Rule (12NYCRR56) asbestos abatement regulations specify that any person who plans the scope, timing, phasing and/or asbestos remediation methods to be utilized on any asbestos abatement project must maintain this certification. New York State Department of Labor Engineering Services Unit has made it mandatory for all variance submittals to be signed by a Certified Project Designer. New York State Education Department (NYSSED) requires asbestos abatement project designer certification for those who submit asbestos abatement plans to the NYSSED.
